Default [SOLVED] Moving Servers

Excellent guide: Moving ZCS to Another Server » Zimbra :: Blog

I've followed this guide to reinstall my server from scratch and move it to a new system.

I just need to figure out one thing. I'm going to be switching to a 64bit OS. Is it going to be ok to do this exact same procedure and just replace Step 2 of Part 3 and Step 5 of Part 4 with the 64bit version of Zimbra?

Or will I be better off using the 32bit version of Zimbra and do an upgrade to 64bit after everything has been switched over?

Thanks,

Unfortunately I believe it is a little bit more complicated due to the LDAP side of things. Wiki :: Moving ZCS NE 32 bit to 64 bit should help a bit. I think it will work with FOSS aswell but as always take a full backup

As I said I think it should still work for the FOSS edition. The main point is the dumping and importing of the LDAP data due to moving between 32 and 64 bit.

Thanks. I'm excited to give it a go. Sounds like I have more in store for me than I thought.
