Zimbra won't recognize password

Trying to install on Mac OS 10.5.5 and I get error message that pw not recognized. I am admin of single computer. I do know my pw.
Would like to try but don't have time and inclination to pursue.

Is this in the email web client or Admin GUI ? Have you tried using the format username@domain.com ?

Are you attempting to install the Zimbra Server or Desktop Client ?
