Default VM Appliance Zimbra installation (rough start)

In my first investigation of Zimbra I'm having a load of problems, of which I'm not sure where to start.

The admin page (port 7071) is inaccessible. There is no firewall involvement (as far as i know, I'd expect the vm appliance to not block it).

Proceeding to the setup and configuration I see the services page the following error;

error: /etc/conaryrc:3: when processing includeConfigFile: /etc/conary/config.d/zimbra:1: when processing includeConfigFile: Error reading config file http://updates.zimbra.com/conaryrc: Temporary failure in name resolution Release RPL1
Click the Done button to continue from this wizard page.

Cannot determine services - exiting

Any suggestions?

thanks

The VMware Appliance is, IIRC, rather an old version of Zimbra. I'd suggest you install VMware Server (free) then CentOS 5.2 (free) then the current version of Zimbra Open Source for RHEL (also free).

Ubuntu 6 LTS is another (supported 8)) OS to run as guest.

And with Ubuntu 8 LTS at the corner, hosting Zimbra VMs based on JeOS will be just... GREAT !
