Default Debian + Zimbra + SSL Certificate >> Unable to determine enabled services from ldap

hello every
just a little problem

i have done a fresh install of debian netqork edition
then :
type the needed configuration for hostname (hostname f and hostname) that they respond with the same : machine.domain.com
reboot
the install zimbra qithout any error
then follow the how to to install zimbra commercial certificates
Commercial Certificate in 5.x - Zimbra :: Wiki


test it :

/opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr verifycrt comm /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key /root/ssl.crt /root/commercial_ca.crt
** Verifying /root/ssl.crt against /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key
Certificate (/root/ssl.crt) and private key (/opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key) match.
Valid Certificate: /root/ssl.crt: OK

start stop zimbra to make sure its ok before installing

zmcontrol stop
Host dedibox.rezolan.net
Stopping stats...Done
Stopping mta...Done
Stopping spell...Done
Stopping snmp...Done
Stopping archiving...Done
Stopping antivirus...Done
Stopping antispam...Done
Stopping imapproxy...Done
Stopping mailbox...Done
Stopping logger...Done
Stopping ldap...Done
zmcontrol start
Host dedibox.rezolan.net
Starting ldap...Done.
Starting logger...Done.
Starting mailbox...Done.
Starting antispam...Done.
Starting antivirus...Done.
Starting snmp...Done.
Starting mta...Done.
Starting stats...Done.


and then install the certificate

/opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr deploycrt comm /root/ssl.crt /root/commercial_ca.crt

** Verifying /root/ssl.crt against /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key
Certificate (/root/ssl.crt) and private key (/opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key) match.
Valid Certificate: /root/ssl.crt: OK
** Copying /root/ssl.crt to /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.crt
** Appending ca chain /root/commercial_ca.crt to /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.crt
** Saving server config key zimbraSSLCertificate...done.
** Saving server config key zimbraSSLPrivateKey...done.
** Installing mta certificate and key...done.
** Installing slapd certificate and key...done.
** Installing proxy certificate and key...done.
** Creating pkcs12 file /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/jetty.pkcs12...done.
** Creating keystore file /opt/zimbra/mailboxd/etc/keystore...done.
** Installing CA to /opt/zimbra/conf/ca...done.


so there is no problem i think in this thing ..BUT !!!

when i stop and start zimbra again to validate the use of certificate
BING !! a have this ! but all is working in zimbra ( i think)

so please could tou give me a way to solve that

Starting ldap...Done.
Unable to determine enabled services from ldap.
Enabled services read from cache. Service list may be inaccurate.
Starting logger...Done.
Starting mailbox...Done.
Starting antispam...Done.
Starting antivirus...Done.
Starting snmp...Done.
Starting mta...Done.
Starting stats...Done.

Do a search of the forums for the phrase "Enabled services read from cache", that will get you the answer.

so i have doing a search in the forums but no answer to me my hosts file is ok
and i have no idea because in wrok BEFORE i put the certificate and not after !!!
the only thing is certificate not firewall or other things ..!!!

so a little help please

Hi Pat ,
Even i am facing the same problem ...exactly as u r facing .... After installing the commerical SSL ...the zmcontrol start command yield the same error to me ... the log seems to be normal .... Guys we are wondering y it happened .. Please help us ..
