Default [SOLVED] I'm not sure what's going on...

I moved from SCSI drives to SATA drives following this.
Moving ZCS to Another Server » Zimbra :: Blog

Everything seemed to work fine except that:

I log into the web interface and try to load a message.
The message gets flagged as read
No message shows up
I get this error ->
"msg: No such blob: mailbox=3, item=2100, change=23902
code: mail.NO_SUCH_BLOB
method: SearchConvRequest
detail: soap:Sender
trace: btpool0-4:1215545265194:622eb85d5209c8f8"

I go to the Documents tab
try to create a document
try to save it
I get this error ->
"msg: Couldn't parse message
code: mail.MESSAGE_PARSE_ERROR
method: SaveWikiRequest
detail: soap:Sender
trace: btpool0-1:1215546556822:622eb85d5209c8f8"

I go to the Briefcase tab
try to upload a document
no errors, nothing uploads.

I go to the Calendar tab
try to create an event
try to save the event
I get this error ->
"msg: system failure: IOException java.io.FileNotFoundException: /opt/zimbra/store/incoming/1215545259267-8.msg (Permission denied)
code: service.FAILURE
method: CreateAppointmentRequest
detail: soap:Receiver
trace: btpool0-11:1215546835473:622eb85d5209c8f8"

IM - Works fine.

What was the exact rsync, copy, etc command you ran? Looks like you didn't keep permissions on /opt/zimbra/store correctly.

as root
chown -R zimbra:zimbra /opt/zimbra/store

Let us know how you took an image of the /opt/zimbra first, but you may also need to run:
su - zimbra
zmcontrol stop
exit (back to root)
cd /opt/zimbra/libexec/
./zmfixperms

(zmfixperms does not correct the store)

Default Permissions and Hosts

Looks like I forgot to setup /etc/hosts too. I did that along with your suggestions.

Waiting....

You guys come through for me again. Hrm... Just the support that you guys put behind this stuff makes me want to be paying for it. Too bad I can barely pay for college right now.

When I get around to having a decent amount of money, is there any way to donate?

Thanks,
-Mike

I use rsync -avHK (to catch all the symlinks, you can do fine with out -H or -K but -a incorporates a lot of good arguments (-rlptgoD).

Hm, idn if a 'donate button' might make us seem a little tacky - but there are other ways to thank us like contributing however you can, even if it's just helping others in the forums.

Just checked the blog uses, if you did "rsync -avr" you should be fine. And actually -r is redundant anyways because it's in -a.
