Default Daily Report keeps getting deferred

My Daily Mail Report to my admin account keeps getting deferred. Not sure what's going on. Also, I'm getting a LOT of bogus senders in my active sender list on the reports I did get. Anyone got a minute to help out here?

Oh, this is the current network release on a Mac OS X 10.4 client box. Everything seems smooth, but this is a bit weird.

Does the email address that it is being sent to include the domain ? You could put a entry in your cronfile like :-

MAILTO=my.email.address

With respect to the bogus senders then do a search for backscatter

It's going out, but it's getting caught in the que. I've got 12 emails deferred now and when I try to force them through it fails.

Thanks for the reply. This is a Mac OS X box so that might be half the battle. This box isn't as smooth at my personal Centos install.

As a follow-up I just ran the 5.0.7 NE install and everything went smoothly, but I still have a huge pile of defferred messages. They are supposed to be my daily reports, but I can't flush it or re-que them. No luck.

I've been poking around a bit more and have a few more details that might help solve this issue.

I found an error that looks like the server is trying to send to a .local name that isn't correct or something goofy like that. I think it should be reading localhost or the domain. Let me know what you guys think.

Code:
01:04:10 deferred (Host or domain name not found. Name service error for name=Zimbra-Mail.local type=MX: Host not found, try again)

Default Anyone?

So, no one has had any info so I'm going to bump and add a bit more info as I'm digging around my setup here.

The screenshot below is of the message. I cannot figure out why it refuses to go through. Let me know what you guys think.

Is zimbra-mail.local your current actual domain?

Or just leftover from old setup?
su - zimbra
zmlocalconfig | grep smtp_destination

No, the .local is an old setup. Where would I change the domain to it's proper FQDN?

Also, the smtp_destination is correct. It's going to admin@domain.com

Can I add a destination? Or how would I simply change it?

THANK YOU for the help!
