[SOLVED] fatal: Queue report unavailable - mail system is down

Hello!
I have installed Zimbra on Linux server (CentOS 5).
If zimbra starts - all services of zimbra starts sucessfully, even mta. I can send emails form zimbra to external addresses but I can't receive it reply emails. But this is another problem. Problem that I want to resolve is impossibility of sending emails from command line of Linux, so no cron job's email cannot be recieved. If I stoped mta (postfix) in zimbra, and starts linux postfix I can send emails form command line and from zimbra too, but in /var/log/maiilog I have too much messages like:

Jun 23 13:54:00 localhost postfix/postqueue[11116]: fatal: Queue report unavailable - mail system is down...


How it can be solved?

Zimbra relies on its own postfix. Trying to use the default one that was installed by CentOS will stop Zimbra from functioning.

If you're trying to get emails from cron, try specifying an email address in your crontab.

MAILTO=user@domain.com

I have another question. Can Zimbra use external postfix that installed with CentOS or Zimbra can use only it's internal postfix?

No, it can't use any other postfix. It's designed as a completely integrated suite and must use the products supplied.

If you want to send mail from the command line then please search the forums for the answer.
