Default [SOLVED] Syslog-ng server not running after IP Address Change

All:

After reading the posts on changing the IP address on my Zimbra mail server the syslog service will not run. given that it is not running I can not get zimbra to run.

I am running openSUSE 10.2 with zimbra 5.06. I change all of the IP Address in DNS, Host file and so on.

Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance

What did you have to do to fix this problem? I'm having the same issue after I changed the IP address of 2 nodes in a 3 node setup. Server A, the logger, has information for itself and server C, whose IP didn't change, but Server B will not send its logs to Server A.

I founf that there was an issue with the syslog-ng.config file. I neede to add a return to teh end of the file and all worked well. I hope this helps.
