NOT really solve the problem..it's happening again today..even to login through the admin console is taking too long..

The message that was displayed is "Work in Progress " & "Getting for Domain" before the message "Error Encountered"

I noticed on my server logging into the admin gui has always seemed to take a while as well. I've never got errors though. But I just learned some of the zmprov commands and do everything with commands, it is much faster that way.

Thank you. It's noted.
My access through admin console (to create user id) is sometime very slow, however there are time when it is ok.

I'm running ZCS 5.0.11 (in production mode starting today 1st Dec 2008) on Centos 5.1 having 16GB RAM, 4x400GB SAS H/disk with RAID1. I've about 400 users, all using web browser.

Thanks to Zimbra.

So far, Zimbra has been working fine without any problem except the email receipt acknowledgement issue.

My next immediate task is to test out DimDim in Zimbra using the DimDim Zimlet.

I'm planning to migrate our students email system (about 8,000 users) from Openwebmail to Zimbra soon.

Thanks again to Zimbra for such a great software!!

Hi matnor,

Nice for you. 16GB mem if hefty enough for 400 users I believe. I'd setup 1000 users mailbox for a public university here using 4GB mem, around 200MB to 2GB mailboxes at random.

To plan for future expansion, maybe you can opt for more disk spindles (eg: 8x146GB) to have more IOPS capability. If you need some sizing advices feel free to PM me!

Thanks!
