Default Zimbra on Ubuntu 7.04/7.10

I know it's not officially supported, but has anyone had any problems running Zimbra on Ubuntu Server 7.04 or 7.10 (or even 8.04 LTS)? I had a lot of trouble installing 6.06LTS on my Dell server, and ended up with 6.10. I have Zimbra running on there no problem.

However, with Edgy no longer supported, I'm not getting security updates for my Ubuntu server and want to upgrade. I thought I'd ask around and see if anyone ran into any difficulties before I got too nuts with it.

Thanks,
Mike

Not only is it 'not officially' supported, it's not supported at all for NE. You will invalidate your support by changing to a different version of Ubuntu, 8.04 will be the next version supported, search bugzilla for the details.

I believe that 6.06 LTS is supported until 2011, isn't it?

Yes, something like that, but again I'm stuck on 6.10 because my hardware didn't like 6.06's kernel. I'll jump into the bugzilla; 8.04 sounds reasonable once it's officially supported.

I've been running zimbra on Ubuntu 8.04, and had very little issues.

This afternoon managed to upgrade 5.0.6 to 5.0.8 or Zimbra (Open Sourced Editiion though) with no problem.
