Default [SOLVED] https and smtp not responding?

I've just installed zimbra with no errors. It is on a server behind a firewall and I have the firewall set up to allow smtp, https, imap ssl from anybody and the 7071 only from my IP address.

I'm able to connect to and log into the https admin interface on 7071. But when I try to connect to https:// webmail I get a connection failed. Also my smtp connections go unanswered. I can connect to the IMAP SSL which works great!

Is there something I missed? Do I need to tweak some settings? How would I know if those services are enabled?

Can you connect using http? Did you change the webmail mode that Zmbra is using? The zmtlsctl command is probably what you need.

As you're behind a firewall, have you also set-up a Split DNS? You will need one.

it was two things, first postfix was running on it's own and conflicting with zimbra and second, I needed to do a zmcontrol shutdown, kill all zimbra tasks, delete all files in /tmp and then run zmcontrol startup.

After that, everything started working perfectly.
