Forwarded mails get delivered 10 times

Hello,

We're having a strange problem with one of our users. The user in question wants all messages delivered to his Zimbra mail forwarded to another mail account (which happens to be o2 mail, which he can access using his Blackberry).

The problem is that all incoming mails get delivered in 7-10 copies each. The forwarding works fine when forwarded to another e-mail address.

What could be the solution to this?

What version of ZCS are you running ?

su - zimbra
zmcontrol -v

also have a look at /var/log/zimbra.log to see how many emails were actually sent to O2 for that user.

We're using Version 5.0.4_GA_2101.UBUNTU6.NETWORK Mar 21, 2008. I don't have shell access to the server machine unfortunately.

You will need to speak to the server Administrator then to see if they can provide a extract from the logfiles. It is very difficult to see what is happening without them.
