Debian Etch already exist ldap server

hello i and trying install zimbra zcs-5.0.6_GA_2313.DEBIAN4.0.20080522112011
in a debian etch box, i have already config and working ldap server what i want to use with zimbra , i see that zimbra have something called zimbra ldap in the beginning i think that it was a ldap support but later i confirm that is a own zimbra ldap server so my question is that if i can use my already setup and working ldap server with the zimbra ( and setup it in the install process of zimbra ) so i can create and managed my user in my own ldap server without the zimbra-ldap server .

pd: the ldap server is running in the same box that i want install zimbra.

Welcome to the forums.

No, you can't use your existing LDAP on the same box as Zimbra. You are required to install the Zimbra supplied LDAP server.

i can almost do some kind of restore of that already done in my actual ldap server to the new zimbra-ldap server ( i have a samba domain , etc ) and howto ( some point of manual or howto will great )
