[SOLVED] web admin not connecting on ver 5

Good day
I have installed ver 5 of zimbra and it does not seem to have tomcat running
everything compltes fine but when i try web admin i dont get thru

please assist

Welcome to the forums

What O/S have you installed on ? Did you follow the single server install document ? Are you sat behind a firewall, if so you will need a Split DNS - Zimbra :: Wiki configuration. Have you checked your Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki for any error messages ?

the problem was that i did not have
localhost in the /etc/host file
after i added this i ran the setup again and it was perfect
this a great product !
