mails deferred

hello i have the following issue :

if I start the server (init 6) or cold start, and do a su zimbra / zmcontrol status
everything seems to be OK but the mails (outgoing and ingoing are stuck in the deferred queue.

so if i do a zmcontrol stop / start everything is OK

is there someone having an Idea? because this issue is problematic in the case of a restart of the server in the middle of the night for exemple.

ZCS 5.0.4 running on suse SLES 10 (not SP1)

What do your Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki show when ZCS is being started up via the init process ?

mmmm could you tell wich log file it is please ....

Read the wiki article, everything you need is in it.

/var/log/zimbra.log will show your any postfix messages, and as to why they are being deferred.
