Default [SOLVED] uninstalling zimbra desktop

I installed zimbra desktop on a windows xp laptop. There was a sync error and I reinstalled. Now there are two files on the C drive (I think they are data files). After the uninstall, I tried to delete those files. I get the message: Cannot delete ASPNET.MSP Access is denied. What to do??
I tried uninstalling and checking the box to insure a complete uninstall, but I still see those data folders (about 35MB).

Welcome to the forums

Ensure that the Zimbra service has actually been stopped. You can also check Task Manager to see if any rogue processes are running for Zimbra.

How do I ensure that the Zimbra service is stopped? When checking Task manager, what proccesses are related to Zimbra?

I imagine that the processes with be prefixed either zm or zc. Check in your services though that the Zimbra service has indeed been stopped.

No proccesses with any z's and can not find anything relating to Zimbra in local services. The files I am trying to delete are designated with names like: 629e5ff9c20db74d321c1e. I have three now and it seems every time I install Zimbra desktop, a new one is created.

Reboot into Safe Mode and you should be able to delete the files.
