Talking MultiServer Install

It's me again, with my test scenarios.
I have mail queue issues. I suspect it's because of the load.
OK, so I have a master server running 4.5 FOSS, is it possible to have another server strictly for LDAP and MTA? I also want to get another server for mailbox store
Remember I'm running OS version
