Default Problem Install Zimbra ver 5.0.4_GA_2101.F7

Dear all,

i have problem install zimbra ver 5.0.4_GA_2101.F7.20080321141302
on Fedora Core 7.0 i386

this is error log

I hate to think how many times this problem has been posted, and answered, on these forums - you should do a search.

You need to have valid DNS A & MX records and a correct /etc/hosts file for Zimbra to install and run correctly. From the error message above, you seem to have neither of those. If you're behind a NAT router then you'll need a Split DNS set-up, you should also check the Quick Start Guide for the correct format of the hosts file.

That's OK. What's going to be the set-up for your server? IS it behind a NAT router or on a public IP? Make the changes to teh DNS and hosts file and post back.

Use behind a NAT router like mikrotik MikroTik Routers and Wireless

this time is 2:20 AM in my country (jakarta, indonesia)
and i try again to install zimbra at tomorrow

Yes, I know the MiKroTik Routers so you will need the Split DNS for that set-up.
