I am currently having ptoblems with recieving mail on my zimbra server. When i try and send mail to my zimbra server it takes hours to recieve the e-mail. Does anyone know anything that could be holding it up?

Thanks in advance

How are you sending the emails ? direct through your Zimbra server or from somewhere else ? Also check your Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki for error messages.

Also, http://www.zimbra.com/forums/announc...r-profile.html please so we know which version of ZCS you are using

The e-mails i am sending are coming from a different server. Although i have tried sending from multiple mail servers. I also updated my profile with my current version.

Cheers

If you telnet to port 25 on your Zimbra server and inject a email yourself does it hit the target mailbox quickly ? Have you checked /var/log/zimbra.log to see when the email did actually hit your Zimbra server ? The delay could well be outside of your control anyway.

I would look at the other server then. Is your MX record resolving okay externally ? You really need to get the postmaster of the remote system to check their logfiles.

You need to post some information from the log files that tell us what the errors are.
