Default Using only Calendar and Contacts

I have been looking at Zimbra a bit and I like the email client, but I am really only interested in the Calendar and Contacts. Does anyone know how to separate this functionality using the open source version?

Thanks,
James

It's not really possible. Since the calendar needs email to work.

Yeah, I thought they looked pretty well integrated. Is it that they are just so dependant upon each other, or do you think I could take the open source release and without too much modification remove the email client? So I do not take you down my "rabbit hole", where do you suggest I start reading to determine how these dependancies exist-the source?

Thanks again,
James

Take a look at the source in CVS. If your not up-to-speed on the latest JavaScript kung-foo it will be quite hard.

Is your current mail client that good that you'd want to take on this painful dissection?

Nah...It is not that I like my mail app so much, but I have a client need for just the calendar and contacts and I love Zimbra's functionality. Thanks for the help. I will look at the source.

Thanks,

James
