Default Network Edition and Fedora

Hi,

Planning to install the Network edition but currently using Fedora 6 and soon Fedora 8. Will there be a Fedora network version? Has anyone installed the network edition on Fedora without any side effects (i.e mobile sync not working, support issues because of different OS ..)

Regards,
Charles

There is no build of NE for Fedora and there's not likely to be one. The only supported operating systems are the ones listed on the NE download page, you will also not receive any support for NE if you install on any unsupported operating system.

In that case, it seem I have to migration from the open source 4.5.7 GA FC5 to NE 4.5.7 for Redhat or Ubuntu 6.06 TLS. Then do an upgrade to 5.0.

Yes, that would be the route to take.
