Default dig at console returns A record, but zimbra says no

Hi,
I installed a local DNS server (bind9) since I am running zimbra behind NAT.

If I do a "dig mail.pimpmyclone.com A" at the console (same as the zimbra install), I get a answer from my local DNS server with my local IP address.

If I run the zimbra install, I get the following:
Setting defaults...No results returned for A lookup of mail.pimpmyclone.com
Checked nameservers:
localhost
DNS ERROR resolving mail.pimpmyclone.com
It is suggested that the hostname be resolveable via DNS

Below is the console output from my dig commands "dig mail.pimpmyclone.com A" and "dig mail.pimpmyclone.com mx"

Everything looks good to me... I don't see anything useful in the zimbra install logs.

I would really appreciate any thoughts on what is going on...
Thank you!
Phillip

Is it working? I think you can ignore it. If there's an issue, trust me, you'll hit.

It is working. I went through the install process although zimbra complained about the missing "A" record and everything appears to be working fine.

I am able to send and receive mail from external mail servers.

Thanks for the go-ahead.
