Default Shares missing server name at beginning of fqdn

Quote:
URL
To allow others to access this item, direct them to this URL:
The URL given is incorrect as it is missing the server name, in this case it is pointing to our web domain.
Should be:
https://servername.domainname.com/home/...

I am getting:
https://donainname.com/home/...
If I manually add the server name in given URL everything works perfectly.

I have defined the default domain so users do not have to put in their domain name when logging in (Thank you Zimbra).
Running Zimbra 5.0.4 network edition on Ubuntu 6.06 Server.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Jonathan

Default host hostname and zmprov

Quote:
host `hostname`
<-- returns -->
zmail.domainname.com has address 10.0.0.18
Quote:
zmprov gs fqdn.yourserver.com | grep Auth
<-- returns -->
zimbraMtaAuthEnabled: TRUE
zimbraMtaAuthHost: zmail.domainname.com
zimbraMtaAuthTarget: TRUE
zimbraMtaAuthURL: https://zmail.domainname.com/service/soap/
zimbraMtaTlsAuthOnly: TRUE
For good measure "hostname" and "hostname -f" both return fqdn.yourserver.com

Default zimbraPublicServiceHostname

Quote:
zmprov gd domainname.com | grep zimbraPublicServiceHostname
When finished returns:
zimbraPublicServiceHostname domainname.com

Quote:
zmprov gad
Returned
domainname.com
zmail.domainname.com

host `hostname` returns the same as before as does
zmprov gs fqdn.yourserver.com | grep Auth

But still a no go, I even did a full stop/start via zmcontrol.

Default zmprov md domain.com zimbraPublicServiceHostname server.domain.com

Perfect and no restart required.

Thank You.

Cheers,
Jonathan

BTW sheer embarrassment in expecting grep to do anything other than return the value, I need to get some sleep.

is it possible to use the zimbraPublicServiceHostname per server base?

something like:
$ zmprov ms server1.internal.domain.com zimbraPublicServiceHostname zimbra1.domain.com

$ zmprov ms server2.internal.domain.com zimbraPublicServiceHostname zimbra2.domain.com
