Yeah, I had this problem after updating for the SSH bug. I didn't notice the problem until several days later though...fixed now.

And what I must to do if prompt password? Is the same password that I provided when installed?

I can retrieve message queues. Thanks

Logging out and back in fixed me up. If it's still asking for a password, did you try restarting all of the zimbra services?

Must I log out Zimbra user and back in, or log out also root user and then log in again? I tried restarting all services, but it still asks for a password.

Thanks

I went by the guys instructions on the first page, logged out as user zimbra, then did an su zimbra and was logged back in as zimbra. If it doesn't work, try the instructions again.

Does anything need to be added to AllowUsers in ssh config or /etc/hosts.allow?
Is there 2 !! symbols next to the zimbra user in /etc/shadow or /etc/passwd?

ie: I can assume you've checked everything in this doc correct? Mail Queue Monitoring - Zimbra :: Wiki

Is this 5.0.4 from your profile? What's the operating system platform? (Helps us if paste current a zmcontrol -v string there.)

What do you mean by this wording:

Are you saying the admin console is already fine (no longer remote manager error in queue/server/certificates) but still getting the prompt on verifying? Or did you mean you're reverting to command line queue management like mailq/postqueue/postsuper?)

Hello Mike,

Thanks for the answer.

I'm using 5.0.6 version, excuse me. And it's installed in debian 4.0.

Release 5.0.6_GA_2313.DEBIAN4.0 DEBIAN4.0 FOSS edition

Zimbra is an allowed user in ssh config and my host is also allowed. There aren't !! symbols next to the zimbra user in these files.

I've also this :22 error when I clic name server in servers tab on the left menu, and also in certificates.

I've followed all steps in the documentation from wiki, but always prompt for a password for zimbra@myhost when I execute ssh -i... I restarted services, regenerate ssh keys serveral times, etc.

When I said "I can retrieve message queues. Thanks" I mean that when i click "Message queues" the system shows the :22 error and I can see info in the list, only error.

Code:

It prompts for a passowrd which I do not know...so the result is Authentication failure. What is the password for su-zimbra.

My ssh server is set up for key authentication only ... will this be a problem?
