Default Message display problem after 3.0.0_GA_156 upgrade

After upgrading to the new release, I'm getting bad formatting of html emails.
Emails that are received in HTML format are
A
L
L

Sc
ru
nc
h
ed
up

Like

Text files are fine. Using Firefox 1.5.1 and the server is CentOS 4.2
Previous versions behaved perfectly.

Now I went and tried the on-line demo and get the same results.

Any Ideas what it could be? JavaScript?

Thanks,

james

Try a ctrl-reload on Firefox and/or clear your cache. We've seen this a few times when the app gets out of sync.

Default Oops Spoke too soon...

It works to clear the cache and /or Ctrl-Reload, but when I revisit the same email it appears all messed up again.

Anything else I can try?

Each time? Or only the first time?

Hard to say, seems a bit random.
It will work fine for a bit but then I hit one message and others get messed up until I hit ctrl-reload

Some extra info:

Firefox 1.07 on FC4 has the problem.
I also tried on Ubuntu w/ Firefox 1.5.1 and ran into the same problem.

Default The same problem

Hi

I'm using FC4 with firefox 1.0.7 and I got the same problem with the preview window. I had rebooted every system and cleared the cache without any success.

What should it test to get back to normal ?

Have you tried installing FF 1.5.01?

Default I am having the same problem

I am using Firefox 1.0.7 on Ubuntu Linux 5.10. Noticed the same exact problem. Doesnt appear to come up if the message has multiple conversation pieces. If it is just a single message thought it happens quite often.

Sometimes by clicking on other messages I can clear it.

Running the initial GA release on Centos 4.2
