Installation Stuck

I am trying to install Zimbra (latest download) on Suse 10. Everything goes fine and then I get error saying

Adding mail.compteks.com to zimbraMailHostPool in default COS...ERROR: service.FAILURE (system failure: getDirectContext) (cause: javax.naming.CommunicationException mail.compteks.com:389)

and then I get stuck on this

ldap is not starting, or the hostname can't be resolved in DNS.
