I completely agree. In the grand scheme of things their earnings aren't going to be made or broken by the average joes of the world, however many of them there are.
The medium/large corporations with steady budgets, re-occurring license renewals, support contracts, etc.. that's where the money is.
I'm sure they're also more than aware that a lot of the average joes who may work with a =<5 license package have a measure of influence at their place of business or with their client(s).
If they were to offer the NE version of ~5licenses for free or a very samll/reasonable amount of money not only would I switch at home but it would help me get it into other clients who are the smaller mom and pop type clients who have 10-15 employees give or take. This is assuming that adding on users to a 5 user pack can be made in increments of 5.
Small companies need collaborative groupware tools too
