Default Zimbra Installation on IBM Power PC

Hi Team,

I'm trying to install Zimbra 5.0.2 on a IBM Power PC but the install.sh script fails at certain point. I tried to install it using the rpm's files and they appear to be fine, but Zimbra doesn't work at all. I would like to know if there's a way to complete this installation.

Thanks for you help

What OS? What hardware? What version of Zimbra?

There are currently no PPC builds of Zimbra, you would need to build it from source.

OS: Red Hat AS 4.0, Zimbra: zcs-5.0.2_GA_1975.RHEL4.20080130212006, Hardware Details: RAM 2 GB, 4 HDD SCSI 72 GB, Power PC Processor. I would like to know if there's an installation guide from source, because all the documentation i've been downloading it only includes de binary way to install Zimbra.

Thanks in advance.

The binary installer you have downloaded is for i386 only.

You can try installing from source, try following the wiki links from here:

It's not fun/easy/quick/for the faint of heart!
