v5.0.2 Theme Question

Hi.
I know that this will sound lame, but I am preparing to migrate up to 5.0.2 fro m 4.5.9... and what the (choose an expletive) happened to the steel theme. It looks now just like the other themes. All square and cluttered.

1. How can I reload the old steel theme??
2. How can I remove that stupid yahoo search bar??

Sorry, but the support portal search does not work very well.
I found them also by direct searching the forum too.

BTW... Is the moving of the close button from right to left also in the templates??
