That error means exactly what it says, there is no DNS A or MX record for the domain (you also need a correct /etc/hosts file). If you are behind a NAT router you'll need to set-up a
Split DNS. This subject has been covered many times in the forums, please search for some troubleshooting tips and post some output to show you have valid records.
