Default Problem logging in from web admin console.

Hi All,

I've just complete a new install of zimbra 5.2... The install went well but can't seem to log in via the web admin console. I am sure I am not typing in wrong password. Also, I went and changed zimbra admin pw via command line by using zmprov tool and still no success logging in. I've tried from 2 different client PC's. Any thoughts?

Sry if this seems out of the ballpark...but when all else seems illogical: Have you tried with the full user@domain.com?
(You don't have to append the domain when using whatever's set as your default domain or navigating to the page via virtual hosts.)

mmorse, thanks for your help/input... I tried to login using user@mx1.domain.com and it worked. However, I had a previous install and was able to use just admin (to login to the admin section - url:7071). Is there something I need to do to make that happen?

I would prefer to be able to just use admin... Also, as a separate issue, I want to setup different domains on this email server and want users to access email using
just there username@domain.com to log in. I don't want for them to have to type user@mx1.domain... Or, better yet just use the username without having to type in the domain since.

Would appreciate your comments/suggestions to above!

Joe
