Default Incomplete Reply Window Loading

We're running 5.0.2_GA_1975.UBUNTU6 FOSS edition on an Ubuntu 7.10 server.

On Windows XP SP2 workstations, using Firefox 2.0.0.12 to access email via the web client, when I select a message and click Reply the reply window opens but the pointer stays in its loading state, flickering rapidly, and the status bar loading indicator remains at almost 100% without quite reaching the end and disappearing.

On the other hand, the cursor is present, I can enter text normally and send the reply. The reply is indeed sent, but the pointer never leaves its loading state while the reply window is open.

This happens whether I'm replying in place or in a new window.

It does not happen when using IE6. I haven't had a chance to test it on IE7 yet.

Is this a Firefox thing (like the disappearing cursor) or have others seen this on Zimbra 5.0.2 FOSS?

Apparently, this is a known issue:

Bug 24231 - Hourglass cursor flickers endlessly when replying to message

and is resolved in 5.0.3.
