Default Installation fails on RHEL4

I'm in the process of testing before upgrading from version 3.1.4 all the way up to 5.0.2

Before doing this on the actual machine, I have been running tests on Virtual PC with the following specs:

Running RHEL4x32 OS

1 GB Ram

15 GB virtual disk

During upgrading I have had inconsistent behavior. I have been doing the upgrades in small steps (3.1.4 to 4.0.0 to 4.5.0 to 4.5.10). Everything seems to work fine until 4.5.0. After that, the upgrade has a tendency to fail and crash the virtual PC.

Furthermore, a clean install of 5.0.2 works all the way up to the point that it starts the servers, which consistently crashes the system.

Any suggestions?

Are there any known issues with zimbra's higher versions running on Virtual PC?
