[SOLVED] upgrading open source 4.5.4 to 5.0.2

Hi,
I am planning to upgrade to enjoy the benefits of the 5th version.

I have Red Hat enterprise 4, (actually centOS)

Do I have to update to an intermediate version before going to 5.02 from the 4.5.4? or I just have to install the 5.0.2 directly?

Is there a howto around here?

I am using non standard ports (8080, 7071,etc..) Does de upgrade recognize all these old settings?
