How do you resend and email?

If you right click on an email and choose edit, from here you can modify (or not) and click send.

I see you put these down as bugs - surely they are feature requesrs (unless it is meant to be there somewhere!

At the moment I am forwarding the message and deleting the original sender/receiver info.

After some more playing I found it is behaving a bit weird. You need to right click on the recipients name in the "To" column, if you don't, say if you click on the subject the edit menu item does not appear. If you have moved mail out of sent you need to right click on the senders name (that's you) in the "From" column, the result is the same. One little glitch I found though, sometimes if I have selected (left clicked) on an email then right click on another the first mail stays selected and the right click doesn't show the edit menu item but this is not consistent. The most reliable way I have found is to left click on the mail you want to resend, right click on the recipients name and "edit" should appear.

As I consider the resending of a mail (mutt and elm users know it as "bounce" an email) so extremly useful in some cases, I wrote a zimlet that can resend a single mail to an arbitrary email address without modifying the
FROM:, TO:, DATE: and all other header lines.
