Default Any Update on 4.5.11 for SLES9/SLES10?

Our 4.5/SLES9/32-bit to 5.0/SLES10/64-bit migration is on hold pending the release of 4.5.11 for both platforms.

Any update on when we might expect 4.5.11 to be released?

Thanks,
Mark

Soon Though I'm sure you'll have no trouble figuring it out when the time comes (standard /blog/archives/2007/10/moving_zcs_to_another_server.html) you might read through MigrationFromEOL - Zimbra :: Wiki just to see the notes about it for when 4.5.11 goes live - there will be release notes with it as well.

Default What About LDAP?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the fast reply, and on a weekend no less!

The articles you to which linked were great, but we are moving the OS from 32-bit SLES9 to 64-bit SLES10. I recall others have posted here that when going from a 32-bit to a 64-bit server-to-server move, that LDAP needs to be exported from the old (32-bit) server and then the ldif file imported onto the new (64-bit) server.

The articles would seem to indicate that an in-place upgrade is possible. Does that mean no LDAP export/import anymore?

Thanks Mike!

All the best,
Mark

You must export to LDIF and import from LDIF when going from 32-bit to 64-bit.
