Default [SOLVED] Can't add buddies to local Zimbra IM

I just upgraded to 5.0.1 and I'm testing the IM. I've enabled IM via the admin console and in my user preferences but I can not add a local zimbra user to my buddy list. I don't see anything in the logs that looks like IM activity good or bad.

Welcome to the forums,
IM is still beta & some parts have been disabled on install - try running:
Quote:
su - zimbra
zmprov mcf zimbraXMPPEnabled TRUE
zmprov mc default zimbraFeatureIMEnabled TRUE
zmprov mc default zimbraFeatureInstantNotify TRUE
zmmailboxdctl restart
(& on another COS's besides 'default' as needed)

Glad you enjoy Zimbra!
Just to orient you a bit:
http://www.zimbra.com/forums/announcements/12153-dont-forget-update-your-profile.html so we know what set of commands to give you later.
Bugs & RFE's (requests for enhancements) can be filed in Bugzilla & tracked via PMweb.
A good doc on this process is: Open Source Product Management: How do features get into Zimbra?
Last but definitely not least - the Wiki has all sorts of collective knowledge in it
