Where did you get your copy of Suse SLES 10? Did you download it directly from Novell's Customer Care?

We download the ISO's for all of our platforms directly from the provider.
Note that SLES10 requires 640 /etc/sudoers. SLES10 SP1 requires 440.

In any case, a fix for handling this has been made for the 5.0.3 release.
