Default Certificate problems in 5.0.0_RC1

I want to run the Zimbra Open Source edition on a Debian 4.0 amd64 system,
and since there is no amd64 distribution I am building from source
using zcs-5.0.0_RC1_1538-src and zcs-5.0.0_BETA3_1277-3rdParty-src
If/when I succeed, I'll post the fixes I've found to achieve that.

I have got as far as producing what appears to be a working installation
except that it doesn't deliver mail. The wiki suggests this is
characteristic of SSL certificate problems, and the logs show a problem
with SSLConfig which is unable to locate the keystore because it is
looking in the wrong place -- at /opt/zimbra/tomcat/conf/keystore rather
than /opt/zimbra/jetty/etc/conf/keystore

Creating a symlink so that it can find the keystore changes the error
message to:
2008-01-16 15:12:15,383 ERROR [main] [] im - SSLConfig startup problem.
storeType: [jks]
keyStoreLocation: [/opt/zimbra/tomcat/conf/keystore]
keypass: [zimbra]
trustStoreLocation: [/opt/zimbra/tomcat/conf/keystore]
trustpass: [zimbra]
java.io.IOException: Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect

I have followed the instruction in
SSL Certificate Problems - Zimbra :: Wiki
to recreate the certificates, but the error persists.

Any suggestions?

Thanks -- Ross
