Default Without MX not possible?

Hello

I'd like to evaluate Zimbra because it gives me a very good impression. But I have a question about the installation. I do not want Zimbra to be a mail server or relay host. So I did not select zimbra-mta and zimbra-snmp, but the install(.sh) script still wants to see a MX record for the given DNS name. Why? I already have a mail server and I just want Zimbra acting as a interface for the mail server to the user.

What am I doing wrong? Or does it really not work without being a mail server or relay host?

Thank you in advance for your help,

pat

It's a complete package and won't act as a front-end to your current mail server, you need to install the missing components and use an MX and A record for the installation.
