After moving our installation over to a test server (running Ubuntu) 6.06 LTS, I am unable to get tomcat running. Here's what I've done:
-Dummy install using same version of zimbra (4.5.6 GA FOSS)
-Replace /opt/zimbra with the restore
-Some general housekeeping related to other problems I am fixing (I can go into further detail if deemed relevant, but basically export/reimport of ldap data, and some uppercase domain name fixes in config files)
-Run the installer in upgrade mode. The installer seems to complete successfully.
-Fixed permissions
-Do zmcontrol start. After, I do zmcontrol status and see:
My /etc/hosts file is okay.Code:zimbra@phosphor:~$ zmcontrol status Host phosphor.leddynamics.com antispam Running antivirus Stopped zmclamdctl is not running ldap Running logger Running mailbox Stopped tomcat is not running mta Running snmp Running spell Running
Attached is my catalina.out, zmsetup.log, and install.log. Any help would be appreciated, as I've been working on this move for about a month now![]()
