Default Debian Firewall

Hi,

Having sucessfully installed Zimbra on Debian, I am now looking to configure a firewall.
I have read some articles that suggest this is not necasary for a Zimbra machine.... it this correct?
Has anyone used iptables to protect there machine? are there any "known to work" debian iptables scripts available that have been proved to work?

Thanks

S

It's not recommended to run a firewall (or SElinux) on the Zimbra server, your server should be behind a firewall that's provided on another server. If you want to try it search the wiki for 'firewall' and follow the suggestions there, YMMV.
