Default [SOLVED] All Zimlet Deploy Fails Zimbra 4.5.10

Hi,

I have Zimbra installed (Open Source Version) and I am not able to deploy a single Zimlet throught the Admin UI.

I must be making a stupid mistake. It says the zimlet is uploaded and then the the deployment says failed.

Any advice is welcome.

Welcome to the forums,

What zimlet are you trying to install?

A common error in the admin console zimlet upload is to have stuff zipped up one level too deep on upload.

tail -f /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log at the time your trying to deploy.

Have you tried CLI zmzimletctl - Zimbra :: Wiki?
For instance:
Code:
su - zimbra
cd /opt/zimbra/zimlets-extra
zmzimletctl deploy com_zimbra_collector.zip
Shows up in the zimlets area, you drag a mail item to it and it helps add email addresses to your address book. (In the gallery here.)
This will only apply to the default COS, so apply it to any others as you need.

I have tried deploying
The Google Translator and Contact Collector Zimlets.

I tried deployment from CLI but I did it as root, so maybe I need to do that as zimbra.
I did not see the /opt/zimbra/zimbra-extras

Anything in /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log when it fails?

Yup, run it as the zimbra user.

I'm going to mark the thread solved, of course if you could find the relevant sections in the logs it would make for a nice wrap-up.
Can't say I'll dig too hard trying to repo, as a bunch has changed for 5.0, but it's good for our collective knowledge/history sake if anyone else encounters it and a trend develops.

Also paste the output of your zmcontrol -v and while your at it http://www.zimbra.com/forums/announc...r-profile.html

BTW ZCS 5.0 FOSS is Released!!!
