Smile Multiple-Server Installation (TOW IBM Servers)

Hi,all !

I want to install zimbra no tow IBM servers . My plan is following.

Hardware:

2 x IBM x3400
cpu: 5310 2.0G 4 cores
memery: 8G
hd: 6 x 300G SAS (15k)
nic: 4 x Gbit network interface cards
ARRAY:
array1: RAID1 (2 x 300G) for OS and mail store (/dev/sda)
array2: RAID1 (2 X 300G) for mail store (/dev/sdb)
array3: RAID1 (2 x 300G) for mail store (/dev/sdc)

The /dev/sdb and /dev/sdc will be setup drbd between server1 and server2.
The mail stored on server2 and the mail will be backup to server1 by drbd.

MTA and LDAP will be installed no server1 .
Mailbox and mail-store will be installed no server2 .

Can anybody give me some advise ?
Thank !

Default

I have two servers running DRBD as well in a production environment.
I am using drbd on the /opt folder so everything is being synched and my server2 is just a standby server. We had a fan failure which resulted in server1 going down for 2 days, server2 was there to the rescue!

There are a few DRBD posts on the forums you should check out.

ie: [SOLVED] Zimbra on DRBD

Let me know how your setup goes.

Best,
Leo
