Default Java Exception when installing on a Mac

I'm getting:
Tom:/Users/tug root# /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: com/zimbra/cs/localconfig/Main (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)

I have JDK 1.4 installed
Tom:~ tug$ java -version
java version "1.4.2_09"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_09-232)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2-54, mixed mode)

Do I need to upgrade to 1.5?

Default java

Yes, upgrade, and search the forums for how to make 1.5 the default version (change symlinks in /System/Library/Frameworks...)

Default Mac needs JDK 1.5

Thanks!

It might be a good idea to add the requirement for 1.5 to the Installation Prerequistites section of the quick install guide.
