Default New install with restore of old mails

Hi,

for several reasons I will probably do a completely new install of Zimbra.
Of course I want to keep the current mails.
I do not want to follow the road of install, copy old zimbra-dir, upgrade, run.

So how excatly will I get my old mails in?
Just install and restore from the latest backup?
Is there anything else to keep in mind? The new server will have the same name an IP as the old one.

Thanks

Christian
