Default [SOLVED] Can send from clients but not from web page

This is driving me nuts!

I can send and receive email from my own and any other domain from a client such as Thunderbird or Outlook.

I can receive and sent from my own domain on the web client. I also can receive from anydomain on the web client. But I cannot send to domains other than my own from the web client.

Error message is Message not sent; one or more addresses were not accepted. Rejected address someone@notmydomain.com

Did you search the forums to see if that has been raised before? Try the article in the wiki on 'mynetworks' a search will find it (or on the forums). See if that's the problem.

Didn't help

ran the commands suggested

[zimbra@sst root]$ postconf mynetworks
mynetworks = 127.0.0.0/8 192.168.10.0/24
and

[zimbra@sst root]$ zmprov getServer sst.mms-va.com |grep zimbraMtaMyNetworks
zimbraMtaMyNetworks: 127.0.0.0/8 192.168.10.0/24

so it looks correct to me
But still the same error

Well, what does the following return (run on the Zimbra server):

Code:
host `hostname` <-- type as-is with backticks not single quotes
dig yourdomain.com mx
dig yourdomain.com any

Added 216.54.100.0/29 to mta trust networks

Now the web client works.

Have I created an open relay?

Why not make it the actual ip address /32? Then it'd only be one ip and not a range.

Glad to hear it. I'm going to mark this thread solved.

By the way in answer to your previous question, no, you have not created an open relay here; an open relay would accept mail FROM anywhere and relay it TO anywhere; your system will accept mail FROM anywhere if it's for members of your domain, but will only relay outside for those that are in your trusted networks.
