    Default [SOLVED] Backup-erator help

Hey there, I am trying to implement the backup solution from here:
Open Source Edition Backup Procedure - Zimbra :: Wiki

    Can't locate File/Rsync.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 .) at /zimbracrunkeration.sh line 8.

Now I have visited those directories and most of that crap is there. I found rsync.pm and copied it into all of the directories, but to no avail.

    Any love?

    Thanks!

    fedora right?
    see if this corrects it:
    yum update perl
    yum update rsync
    SourceForge.net: PerlRsync
    & what's your:
    echo $PATH

    already did that.

Word on the street is that it has to do with classpaths?

You'll need the perl rsync module:

    let's try a prebuilt package,remove it, then:
    yum install perl-File-RsyncP
(suppose you could try just update first)
    or http://ftp.belnet.be/packages/dries....c7.rf.i386.rpm
or perl-File-RsyncP RPM : Dries RPM Repository
    or http://srl.cs.jhu.edu/YUM/fedora/upd...-1.fc7.src.rpm

I did the yum command you provided me with, this was the output:
    Package perl-File-RsyncP - 0.68-1.fc7.i386 is already installed

and the backup-erator is still kaput!

    yum remove perl-File-RsyncP - 0.68-1.fc7.i386
    Then reinstall using yum

(sry, I edited to try and make sure you uninstalled/cleaned up first, but my prior post isn't exactly clear -even after editing- lol)

Seems you headed off for the night, but if the remove/install still doesn't work:
As your root/user post the output of: perl -V
Do the same after you su zimbra then: perl -V
    (that's capital V, a lowercase v doesn't tell much)
