Default Accessing version info from Admin Console

Can I find my Zimbra version anywhere in the Admin Console, or do I have to be on the command line to find it? I have seen reference in another post to an "About Zimbra Version" page in the Admin Console, but cannot find such a thing myself.

And an unrelated question: is there a way to change my Support Portal contact info? All I seem to be able to do is change the display name and password. I need to change the email address.

Thanks.

Sure, there's actually multiple ways to get to it, here's a few-

In the admin console:
Hit the help tab (blue question mark on left) > then click 'About Zimbra Version'

Via the command line:
Code:
su zimbra
zmcontrol -v
Or in the main search bar of the advanced (ajax) web-client enter:
Code:
$set:get version
While we currently have some display of this disabled, you can also add it to your profile> http://www.zimbra.com/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile > about halfway down the page 'additional information' > zimbra version blank

You'll need to send an email to support@zimbra.com and ask them to make the changes you want.

Thank you both. Man, that version info button is sure tough to find until it's pointed out.

I'd love to see the version info be part of the "Status" page that shows when you first log into the UI. . .dunno if that rises to the level of filing an RFE though. . .

The original location came out of Bug 3460 - should be possible to get version/build info from admin console

Still in help, but this might make it more prominant: Bug 14952 - admin UI auto new version check
Quote:
"You are running 4.5.6_string_ there is a newer 4.5.9 available."
vs
"You are running 4.5.9_string_ and are currently up-to-date."
Don't think it's yet been decided whether it will auto-check in the help page vs clicking a button to check. But it's just one more idea to spur people to get on the current version.

I think that'd be a perfect thing to have on the Stats page (precisely because it's something we all see every time we log in to the UI. Think I'll go add that comment to the bug.
