Default Multiple Servers behind foundry issue

Hi, I'm trying to setup a NE multiserver setup behind a foundry L4/L7 switch. For now I'm experimenting with configurations and I have a two server config with one server doing everything, and one doing everything but LDAP and logger. Lets call the two machines zimbra1 and zimbra2. These two machines sit behing a foundry which handles the VIP for it and its named zimbra.domain. Both of the two machines behind it are configured to with the domain of zimbra.domain. I have mynetworks set to include the correct subnet for the two machines.

Here is my problem. All mail connections, even for mail sent internally want to relay through the zimbra.domain VIP. The problem is the as far as I can tell Foundry OS doesn't allow members of a VIP to connect to the VIP they are a member of.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

And the answer seems to be .. Turn off dns lookups in the MTA settings.
